Bintan, Kepri – Srikandinews.com.Upacara Peringatan hari Kemerdekaan Republik Indoneisa ke-79 tahun 2024 tingkat kabupaten Bintan dilaksanakan di Lapangan Hang Tuah Lanal Bintan yang terletak di Kelurahan Tanjung Uban Kota Kecamatan Bintan Utara, Sabtu (17/8/24).
Bertindak sebagai Inspektur Upacara Bupati Bintan Roby Kurniawan dan dihadiri oleh Wakil Bupati Bintan, Kapolres Bintan AKBP Riky Iswoyo, S.I.K., M.M, unsur Forkopimda (Forum Koordinasi Pimpinan Daerah) Kabupaten Bintan, Wakil Ketua I DPRD Bintan, Dandim 0315/Tanjungpinang, Kafasharkan Mentigi, Danlanal Bintan, Dansatrad 213 Tanjungpinang, Kepala OPD Kabupaten Bintan dan sejumlah Tokoh Masyarakat, Tokoh Pemuda serta para Veteran juga megikuti upacara tersebut.
Tema peringatan hari Kemerdekaan Republik Indonesia ke-79 tahun 2024 adalah Nusantara Baru Indonesia Maju,
Upacara Pengibaran Bendera Merah Putih merupakan salah satu bentuk penghormatan yang mendalam kepada para pahlawan bangsa yang telah merebut dan mempertahankan kemerdekaan.
Melalui upacara ini, diharapkan semangat patriotisme dan cinta tanah air terus terjaga di hati seluruh masyarakat Kabupaten Bintan serta memotivasi mereka untuk berkontribusi dalam pembangunan bangsa yang lebih maju dan sejahtera.
Kapolres Bintan AKBP Riky Iswoyo, S.I.K., M.M melalui Kasi Humas Polres Bintan mengatakan bahwa Upacara peringatan Hari Kemerdekaan ini menjadi momentum penting untuk mengingat kembali perjuangan para pahlawan dalam merebut kemerdekaan, serta menguatkan tekad seluruh elemen masyarakat Kabupaten Bintan untuk terus melanjutkan pembangunan demi kemajuan bangsa dan negara.
“Dengan semangat proklamasi kemerdekaan, kami akan terus bekerja keras untuk menjaga keamanan dan ketertiban di wilayah Kabupaten Bintan”, kata Kasi Humas Polres Bintan.
“Kami siap mengamankan pelaksanaan Demokrasi yaitu Pemilihan Kepala Daerah baik Gubernur Kepri dan Wakil Gubernur maupun Bupati dan Wakil Bupati Bintan dengan bersinergi dengan seluruh aparat demi terciptanya suksesnya Pilkada di kabupaten Bintan”, tutup Iptu Alson.
