Lakhomizaro Zebua mengikuti Acara Rapat Kerja Komisariat Wilayah I Asosiasi Pemerintah Kota Seluruh Indonesia (Raker Komwil I APEKSI) didampingi Sekretaris Daerah Kota Gunungsitoli Drs. Oimonaha Waruwu, beberapa Pejabat Eselon II, Kabag, dan para staf lingkup Pemerintah Kota Gunungsitoli, Kamis (30/06) bertempat di Santika Dyandra Convention Medan Jl. Pengadilan, Petisah Tengah, Kecamatan Medan Petisah, Kota Medan, Sumatera Utara, Minggu (03/07/2022).
Raker Komwil I APEKSI yang dihadiri para Wali Kota di wilayah Sumatera tersebut mengusung Tema ” Sinergi dan Kolaborasi melalui Ekonomi Inklusif dan Kualitas Sumber Daya Manusia yang Handal” melahirkan beberapa rekomendasi dan usulan yang nantinya akan dibahas bersama Dewan Pengurus APEKSI dan Pemerintah Pusat diantaranya penghapusan tenaga honorer pada November 2023 mendatang. Usulan lain yang dihasilkan yakni pelaksanaan Raker Korwil I APEKSI pada tahun 2023 mendatang antara Kota Tanjung Pinang atau Kota Batam.
Ketua Dewan Pengurus APEKSI Bima Arya berharap seluruh Pemerintah Kota yang tergabung dalam Komwil I ini dapat bersinergi dan bekerja sama dalam menyelesaikan berbagai permasalahan ataupun isu yang berkembang saat ini. Salah satunya, terkait penghapusan tenaga honorer.
“Kita dari APEKSI tentu mendukung kebijakan tersebut. Namun harus ada aturan dan regulasi yang jelas untuk tenaga honorer yang jumlahnya sangat banyak ini. Oleh karena itu, saya mengajak para Wali Kota se-Indonesia untuk bersama-sama memperjuangkan nasib tenaga honorer,” ujar Bima Arya yang juga menjabat sebagai Wali Kota Bogor saat ini.
Di kesempatan yang sama, Ketua Komwil I APEKSI, Walikota Medan Bobby Nasution mengajak pengurus Komwil I APEKSI untuk bersama-sama menghadap Menteri Dalam Negeri dan Menpan RB untuk memberikan pandangan dan masukan terkait penghapusan tenaga honorer tersebut,
“Dengan semangat kolaborasi antar-Pemerintah Kota Seluruh Indonesia, kita berharap permasalahan dan isu-isu penghapusan tenaga honorer ini mendapatkan jalan keluar,” ujar Wali Kota Medan antusias.
Rapat Kerja ini ditutup dengan penanda-tanganan Berita Acara oleh para Wali Kota. Kemudian dilanjutkan dengan peninjauan stand Medical Ekspo dan stand UMKM Kota Wilayah I APEKSI.
