Nias – srikandinews.com. Mantan Bupati Nias, Drs. Sokhiatulo Laoli, MM menghadiri Ibadah Perayaan Natal Gereja Tuhan di Indonesia (GTDI) Wilayah Nias Tahun 2023 dengan mengusung Tema “Kemuliaan bagi allah dan damai sejahtera di Bumi” (Lukas 2:12).
Perayaan natal ini yang berlangsung di Gereja GTDI Jemaat Lolozasai, Kecamatan Gido, Kabupaten Nias, Sumatera Utara dan dimeriahkan dengan puji-pujian dan dihadiri Anggota DPRD Provinsi Sumut, Pdt. Berkat Laoli serta para tamu undangan lainnya. Minggu (03/12/2023).
Sementara itu, Sambutan Mantan Bupati Nias mengajak semuanya untuk memaknai kelahiran Tuhan Yesus seperti orang majus. Hal itu menunjukkan bahwa orang-orang Majus ini taat dan tunduk kepada perintah Allah.
“Kita berharap sebagai umat kristiani agar merefleksikan diri dan memaknai Natal seperti orang majus yang lebih taat kepada Tuhan dengan merendahkan diri memberikan persembahan yang terbaik melalui kehidupan yang terus dibangun, bertumbuh menjadi kehidupan yang berkenan bagi Tuhan, “Ujarnya.
Selain itu, Sokhiatulo Laoli menyampaikan bersamaan dengan perayaan Natal ini, kita memasuki masa persiapan Pemilu 2024. Maka diharapkan, perayaan Natal ini dapat membawa pesan damai bagi semua lapisan.
