Karimun – srikandinews.com. Setelah mengalami perjalanan yang panjang dan melelahkan dari tahun 2014 hingga sekarang pengurus PODSI ( persatuan olahraga dayung seluruh Indonesia) kabupaten Karimun di bentuk di akhir tahun 2023.
Dalam pengarahan yang disampaikan oleh pengurus PODSI Kepri,,mayor Nawan memberikan pencerahan dan semangat kepada pengurus yang terpilih dan kegiatan yang bakal di buat tahun hadapan tutur Nawan.
Menurutnya lagi,bahwa kita di Kepri harus memajukan olahraga air seperti dayung,karena wilayah Kepri adalah kawasan yang besar yaitu perairan,ungkapnya kepada peserta muscab PODSI Karimun di Ranggam aula BPBD kabupaten Karimun,1 Desember 2023.
Muscab PODSI Karimun di hadiri oleh para pengurus yang telah disusun berdasarkan AR dan ADRT PODSI, dan terpilih sebagai ketua umum James Piter Matakena serta susunan kelengkapan kepengurusan sesuai kebutuhan organisasi olahraga.
Selain itu, PODSI Karimun telah mendapat dukungan kegiatan untuk tahun 2024 melalui pokir salah seorang anggota DPRD Karimun.
