Metro, Lampung – Srikandinews.com. Pemerintah Kota (Pemkot) Metro melalui Dinas Kepemudaan Olahraga dan Pariwisata (Disporapar) kembali adakan Metro Sport Tourism (MST) yang berlangsung di Lapangan Kelurahan Mulyosari, Metro Barat, Munggu (28/04/2024).
Kegiatan tersebut diawali dengan senam Walikota Metro bersama dengan Masyarakat Kelurahan Mulyosari, para OPD, Camat, Lurah dan beberapa Kadis.
Walikota Metro, Wahdi mengatakan, kegiatan Metro Sport Tourism (MST) kembali diadakan setelah bulan Ramadhan kemarin sempat berhenti karena ibadah puasa.
“MST merupakan suatu agenda rutin, yang bisa menjadi pariwisata atau wisata termasuk juga kegiatan-kegiatan olahraga, prinsipnya bagaimana mengumpulkan orang banyak dengan segala kreativitas, begitu juga dengan Metro, adanya kegiatan ini bisa dilihat orang dari luar juga,” ungkap Wahdi.
Selain memberikan hiburan pada masyarakat, Metro Sport Tourism (MST) juga dapat memunculkan potensial dan kreativitas masyarakat di Kota Metro.
“Tadi juga kita lihat ada kegiatan-kegiatan budaya, olahraga, tentunya yang ada di masyarakat yang bisa ditampilkan, banyak sekali hal yang dapat di tampilkan yang bisa menjadi wisata,” ujar Wahdi.
Wahdi juga mengambarkan, wisata itu sederhana saja, tidaklah mewah karena dengan kearifan lokal yang ada di Bumi Sai Wawai, bahwa dengan banyaknya budaya yang ada Kota Metro harus dapat Explorer.
Pantauan Awak Media ini, acara MST juga menampilkan pertujukan seni dan tarian adat, pembagian hadiah, kreatifitas masyarakat dan tak ketinggalan UMKM yang berjejer di pinggir lapangan dengan berbagai aneka makanan. (Rusia).
