Satuan Reserse Narkoba (Satresnarkoba) Polres Tulang Bawang berhasil menangkap tiga orang pelajar yang sedang menyalahgunakan narkotika.
Ketiga pelajar tersebut ditangkap hari Rabu (19/01/2022), pukul 12.30 WIB di samping warung yang berada di depan Pasar Putri Agung Menggala (Pasar Baru), Kelurahan Menggala Tengah.
“Para pelajar yang berhasil ditangkap oleh petugas kami yakni berinisial YS (19) dan AF (19), warga Kelurahan Menggala Kota, serta NY (18), warga Kelurahan Menggala Tengah, Kecamatan Menggala, Kabupaten Tulang Bawang,” kata Kasatres Narkoba, AKP Anton Saputra, S.H, M.H, mewakili Kapolres Tulang Bawang, AKBP Hujra Soumena, S.I.K, M.H, Senin (24/01/2022).
Dari tangan para pelajar ini, lanjut AKP Anton, petugasnya berhasil menyita Barang Bukti (BB) berupa tabung kaca pyrex yang masih terdapat sisa narkotika jenis sabu, Handphone (HP) Strawberry warna hitam, HP Xiaomi warna putih, HP Oppo warna biru, dan HP Vivo warna hitam.
Kasat menjelaskan, keberhasilan petugasnya dalam menangkap tiga orang pelajar ini merupakan hasil penyelidikan di wilayah Kecamatan Menggala. Informasi yang didapat bahwa di samping warung yang berada di depan Pasar Putri Agung Menggala (Pasar Baru), Kelurahan Menggala Tengah, sering dijadikan tempat penyalahgunaan narkotika.
“Saat petugas kami tiba di lokasi, disana berhasil ditangkap tiga orang pelajar dan setelah dilakukan penggeledahan ditemukan BB berupa narkotika jenis sabu,” jelas AKP Anton.
Saat ini tiga orang pelajar tersebut masih dilakukan pemeriksaan secara intensif di Mapolres Tulang Bawang dan dikenakan Pasal 114 ayat 1 Jo Pasal 132 ayat 1 Undang-Undang Republik Indonesia Nomor 35 tahun 2009 tentang Narkotika.
Dipidana dengan pidana penjara seumur hidup atau pidana penjara paling singkat 5 tahun dan paling lama 20 tahun, dan pidana denda paling sedikit Rp 1 miliar dan paling banyak Rp 10 miliar. (Fasi).
