Jakarta , Srikandinews.com.Ketua Umum (Ketum) Ikatan Wartawan Online (IWO) Indonesia, NR Icang Rahardian SH, mengecam tindakan ajudan Panglima TNI yang diduga melakukan intimidasi dan mengancam seorang jurnalis.
Aksi tak terpuji itu terjadi saat Panglima TNI, Jenderal Agus Subiyanto memberi keterangan soal kelanjutan kasus prajurit TNI yang menyerbu Polres Tarakan di Kalimantan Utara di Lapangan Bhayangkara, Mabes Polri, Jakarta, Kamis (27/2/2025).
Saat itu, salah satu ajudan Panglima TNI menghampiri jurnalis yang meminta waktu Panglima TNI untuk wawancara. “Ngapain kau?. Memang tidak di-briefing?,” kata ajudan yang tidak diketahui namanya itu.
Kemudian, sang ajudan arogan tersebut kembali melanjutkan percakapan dengan nada ancaman. “Kutandai muka kau, aku sikat kau,” ucapnya mengancam.
Menurut Icang Rahardian, tindakan intimidasi dan ancaman yang menghalangi kinerja insan jurnalistik dengan dalih pengawalan tidak dapat dibenarkan.
“Tugas wartawan itu dilindungi oleh Undang-Undang No 40 Tahun 1999 Tentang Pers dalam menggali informasi yang dibutuhkan bagi masyarakat luas. Oleh karenanya, kita menyayangkan sekaligus mengecam keras tindakan oknum ajudan Panglima TNI,” tegas Icang.
Atas tindakan oknum tersebut, Icang mendesak Detasemen Polisi Militer (Denpom) melakukan tindakan disiplin dan etik terhadap aparat TNI yang melakukan ancaman dan intimidasi kepada jurnalis.
Selain itu, Icang juga meminta Dewan Pers untuk menerjunkan Satgas anti kekerasan guna memastikan kepolisian mengusut kasus ini dengan tuntas.
“Dewan Pers perlu memantau dan menuntaskan kasus-kasus kekerasan terhadap jurnalis yang selama ini luput dari perhatian hingga peristiwa serupa kerap terulang kembali,” pungkasnya. ( Bambang Hendrawan/Tim)
