Nias Barat — Srikandinews.com Pemerintah Daerah Kabupaten Nias Barat melalui Dinas Ketahanan Pangan, Pertanian, dan Perikanan menggelar Gerakan Pangan Murah sebagai upaya menjaga stabilitas pasokan dan harga pangan. Kegiatan ini dipusatkan di Desa Sihareo, Kecamatan Mandrehe Utara, Senin (22/09/2025).
Program ini merupakan bentuk nyata perhatian pemerintah terhadap kebutuhan pokok masyarakat, khususnya menjelang hari-hari besar atau saat terjadi fluktuasi harga di pasar. Melalui kegiatan tersebut, masyarakat dapat memperoleh berbagai komoditas pangan berkualitas dengan harga lebih terjangkau dibandingkan harga pasar.
Kegiatan dipimpin langsung oleh Kepala Bidang Distribusi, Konsumsi, dan Keamanan Pangan, Betieli Gulo, S.P, dengan arahan dan dukungan penuh dari Kepala Dinas Ketahanan Pangan, Pertanian, dan Perikanan, Ernawati Gulo, S.Pd., M.M.
Dalam sambutannya, Betieli Gulo menegaskan bahwa program ini merupakan bagian dari strategi nasional dalam menekan harga pangan di Kabupaten Nias Barat.
“Kami hadir di tengah masyarakat untuk memastikan ketersediaan dan keterjangkauan pangan. Melalui program ini, kami berharap masyarakat terbantu secara ekonomi dan terbebas dari tekanan harga yang tinggi,” ujarnya.
Adapun komoditas pangan yang disalurkan dalam kegiatan ini meliputi:
1. Beras SPHP sebanyak 3 ton
2. Minyak Kita Premium kemasan 1 liter sebanyak 300 liter
3. Gula pasir sebanyak 200 kg
Kegiatan ini juga melibatkan lintas sektor, tokoh masyarakat, serta tim teknis dari dinas pertanian yang turut membantu kelancaran distribusi di lapangan.
