Tanjungpinang – Srikandinews.com.Diera digital saat ini Pemerintah Kota (Pemko) Tanjungpinang terus melakukan berbagai upaya dalam hal mengedukasi masyarakat untuk bijak dalam memanfaatkan media sosial.
Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika (Diskominfo) Kota Tanjungpinang bertanggung jawab atas penyebarluasan informasi dalam hal ini telah meluncurkan program literasi digital di sekolah-sekolah dan mengambil langkah-langkah proaktif lainnya untuk meningkatkan literasi digital masyarakat dan pelajar dengan tujuan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman anak, guru, dan orang tua tentang pentingnya penggunaan media sosial yang bijak.
Sebagai wujud nyata dalam hal ini, Kepala Diskominfo Kota Tanjungpinang, Teguh Susanto turut hadir menjadi narasumber pada kegiatan Bimbingan Teknis (Bimtek) Penggiat P4GN pada instansi pendidikan, yang diselenggarakan oleh Badan Narkotika dan Narkoba Kota (BNNK) Tanjungpinang di ruang pertemuan Cafe Champion Jalan Engku Putri, Rabu (18/06/2025).
Teguh memaparkan pentingnya literasi digital zaman ini. Dengan memahami empat pilar literasi digital yaitu seperti budaya digital, akses digital, keterampilan digital, dan keamanan digital diharapkan kita dapat menjadi lebih efektif dan aman dalam menggunakan teknologi digital.
Lanjut dalam pemaparannya Teguh menyampaikan dengan memiliki kecakapan literasi digital terkait Pencegahan, Pemberantasan, Penyalahgunaan, dan Peredaran Gelap Narkoba (P4GN) dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran masyarakat tentang bahaya narkoba dan dampaknya terhadap individu, keluarga, dan masyarakat.
“Saya berharap Bapak Ibu semua Penggiat Narkoba yang ada disini dapat lebih mengekspresikan keterampilan dalam menggunakan teknologi digital untuk mencegah dan mengatasi penyalahgunaan narkoba di Pemko Tanjungpinang khususnya di lingkungan sekolah. Seperti dengan membuat gambar design grafis atau lainnya yang menarik, tentu hal ini juga merupakan salah satu upaya yang dapat kita lakukan untuk membentuk opini anak-anak didik kita serta meningkatkan budaya literasi anak dalam hal memperoleh informasi-informasi bahaya narkoba dan informasi positif lainnya,”, ucap Teguh.
Teguh berharap adanya sinergi dan juga peran aktif masyarakat kota Tanjungpinang yang optimistis dapat menciptakan ekosistem digital yang lebih baik bagi generasi muda.
“Saya mengajak Bapak Ibu semua untuk sama-sama kita membangun branding Pemko Tanjungpinang di era digital ini dengan melakukan hal-hal kreatif dan konsisten dalam hal pemanfaatan media sosial secara bijak. Mari kita bersinergi dan berkolaborasi untuk menjaga anak-anak kita agar tumbuh di lingkungan digital yang sehat dan aman,” tutup Teguh.
